At Riverdale Explorers Summer Day Camp, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your and our campers' personal information. We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and take our responsibilities for data protection seriously. Name, contact information, gender, age of campers, and other identifying details
Medical information, including allergies and dietary restrictions
Personal information you (or your child) disclose to us prior to, during, or after your child's camp experience

To provide a safe and fun camp experience for your child

To communicate with prospective and current campers and their parents

Personal information may be disclosed to contractors and service providers located in Canada, the United States or other foreign jurisdictions whose laws may not provide the same level of data protection as federal and provincial laws in Canada. Most of our contractors and service providers are located in Toronto; however, we rely on the services of Google LLC for our registration form, website and storage of personal information. Google is located in the United States. We remain responsible for the personal information we transfer to contractors and service providers. We take reasonable steps to safeguard the personal information that they receive from us.
5. Security and Retention
We employ reasonable safeguards to protect your and your child's personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes stated in this notice and as required by law.
